The Zaggbox can record from HDMI input ports to act as a DVR and rebroadcast content to the internet or a phone for Slingbox like functionality. Otherwise Media Player performance is very much unknown. The one big thing that stands out with the Zaggbox is the price, at $500-900 it is much more expensive than any Media Player or Mini HTPC.
