Conceptronic Yuixx
Expected to be the first player utilising Intel's new CE3100 chipset. Reports suggest it will be a most powerful beast. Contains 2 TV tuners, a full implementation of Firefox, as well as the usual Media Player functions. The Intel chip is a variation on a Pentium M so this player could be seen as a significant move towards the Media Player and the HTPC becoming one. A recent news article has stated that the aim is to support paid content similar to Apple TV. The Yuixx features support for TV smartcards allowing use in playback of protecting TV streams (satellite, DVB-T..).
Update 19th May 2010: The Yuixx is now slated for release in December 2010. Since this is more than a year after it was meant to appear we are relegating it to 1901 launch probable vaporware. We hope it does appear someday but we aren't holding our breath.

Well your update saying december 2010 is inaccurate it going to be released at the end of june. November 11, 2009 - 23:37
Whats even more interesting is this could possibly be loaded with the XBMC software given it has an x86 CPU & Intel GPU. I think the linux version has some hardware acceleration access to the video decoding engine in Intel GPU's but not entirely sure. Leave a Comment
