Sony SMP-10
Sony's first entry into the Media Player world is notable only for it's price, otherwise the SMP-10 is poorly specified and underpowered. It has only one USB port, no network connectivity, and is capable of only 720p. Format support is poor, with no H.264, no .MKV, no RMVB..
We expected a Sony player to have a great GUI. Unfortunately, the SMP-10 makes the Realtek SDK1 firmware look like a masterpiece in interface design. On the plus side, AV connectivity is acceptable and it is cheap.
