SageTV HD Theatre (HD200)
One of the later Sigma 8635 players. Has a good set of features including very comprehensive AV outputs, and MAC HFS+ support. It's downfalls are all due to the old Sigma chipset. User interface is sluggish and decoding performance is inadequate for the very highest reframe video. Also no DTS downmixing, so you'll get no sound through HDMI on ACS MKV video files. On the plus side, it is one of the only players to play Blu-Ray ISOs with full menu.
A good little player that is hampered by a 2008 chipset and now looks expensive.

If you check out the SageTV webpage: (www.sagetv.com) it does state that it supports Flash. A quick search would also indicate that it does, but badly. www.google.co.uk/search?q=sageTV+flash+video&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&sourceid=Mozilla-search&start=0 Hope this helps. September 11, 2009 - 10:16
Is this the only Sigma player which plays .FLV (Flash Video), or is that a typo? I thought Sigma players couldn't play Flash, and that's one of the advantages of RealTek or building your own HTPC. Leave a Comment
