Roku XD
New version of the popular Roku streamer, now offering up to 1080P streaming and Wi-Fi. Roku is available in the US only. Roku is built by Netgear.

Local streaming is very limited but if you buy this you are buying a streamer. As such the range of channels is wider than the AppleTV, it offers 1080P, and the price is lower. Prices for content are also lower than the Apple product, with TV shows starting at 99 cents.

If you are all about streaming the latest content from the big content providers then the Roku is ideal. If you don't plan on using Wi-Fi then this XD version is best value in our opinion.
