Roku 2 XS (3100X)
Tiny new version of the Roku streamer. Poor format support and intended purely for providing streamed content from the internet. This new version uses a new Broadcom chipset (performance unknown). The main differences between this and the previous generation appears to be a new interface and a redesigned remote. This 'XS' version is the top spec model and boasts (whoaar!) a USB port, LAN port, and an RF remote. Like the 'XD', it is full 1080p capable.

If you are American and want a device purely for streaming content from the internet then this Roku is the best of the current bunch. We have given this Roku the highest rating because it has the best local content support. However, this support is stil very poor so you may be better off with one of the other stripped down Roku 2s: see here.
