Roku Digital Video Player
A pure media streamer with no possibility to play any content other than that paid for and streamed directly to the player. As such, it is obviously limited in functionality when compared to the other Media Players but what it does do, it does very well. It allows you to watch video instantly, from a large catalogue of current movies and TV shows using Netflix and Amazon video on demand. The user interface is intuitive and suitable to less technically able users. Reviews have been very positive. A major technical drawback is that it is only capable of 720p video. This device is only available and will only function in the USA.

We believe that players with on-demand features like this are the future. If you could combine the on-demand features here with a good 'proper' Media Player then you would have a killer product. As it is, the Roku will be everything a lot of people want and need but is useless if you have an existing library of media content you want to access.
