QNAP NMP-1000
Another Sigma 8635 machine. This one is more attractive than some with sleek styling and an equally sleek website. Specifications are good with eSATA and very comprehensive AV outputs. Format support should be good, as it is with all the Sigma 8635 players. Supports Youtube, Bittorrent, and Flikr. This is one of the best Sigma 8635s, albeit at a ridiculous price.
It's unfortunate that the chipset used is the Sigma 8635 as the QNAP is perhaps the best looking Media Player out there and has an impressive feature list. A 864x version of this would score highly (edit 08-Mar: An 864x version is on the way!..).

I own one of these and it is excelent, I bought in Dubai a few weeks ago and it works very well. The unit responds very well to the remote control buttons (a failing in units I have had before) and I am very happy with it. I am looking to get a NAS fom QNAP to get more storage. Leave a Comment
