Novatron iamm NTD58 (Hantech Markus S810)
Very interesting new player from veteran Media Player manufacturers, Novatron. Uses the Sigma 8653 chipset, which is near identical to the 8655 used in the WDTV Live. The NTD58 is the top of the range model from Novatron and implements a 2" LCD screen and eSATA. Both are welcome additions, with the screen being particularly of note. By having a screen you can use this as a music player without having to turn on the TV. Also known as the Hantech Markus S810.

In the case of the two Novatrons, they are not yet officially available so we'll change the availability colour to red and remove the rating. In general though, it is possible to give a fairly robust opinion on items based on specifications and knowledge of the past performance of their constituent components. We are confident that the Novatrons will be very decent products and expect to rank them at 3* or above when they are released.
