I just picked one up for my parents house (I own a boxee box myself but wanted this for my parents house when I visit them). I would recommend it for someone who is sensitive to price and just wants to view videos, music and photos and does not require internet features. It plays all my files even my blu-ray rips (only aces sable by selecting m2ts files). I spent a few hours throwing various video files here and there and only found the following limitations: - no WMV support (not necessary for me anyways) Thats about it, pretty powerful little system, even as a boxee box owner I was impressed. Hoping a firmware update in the future will add simple bd menu support and address the mkv with ac3 audio issue. April 06, 2011 - 19:49
Sorry - DTS-HD was not downmixed, it played the dts core track instead. Also I should point out that PGS subtitles do not display with the m2ts files, I would like to see this added in future firmware. Leave a Comment
