Micca MPLAY-HD
Very inexpensive player from Micca using the Amlogic 8626H chipset. The big drawback of this player is that it lacks networking. However, bearing this in mind, the format support is decent and performance from the Amlogic players is reported to be good. DTS downmix and passthrough are supported.

If you don't need networking and just want a simple USB based player then this Micca is not a bad choice.

It has a fairly good GUI, but much to my chagrin however, it does not play WMV files. As such, I had to send it back. Very disappointing. iboum February 28, 2011 - 17:16 Hum. It appears that there are two versions of this player, one with networking and one without. Price difference $5 on Amazon.
