Mede8er 500X2
Realtek 1185 based succesor to the popular Mede8er 500X. Has all the advantages of the better 1185 chipset players (Gigabit LAN, thumbnails, web browser, USB3.0) together with an enhanced firmware.

Mede8er have proved with succesive player generations that they develop great firmware. Amongst other things, the 500X2 features a video jukebox that is much improved from other 1185 players.

Robert – Florida, USA September 17, 2011 - 05:41 Love the new 1Gbps port. I had the original MED500X and had some problems streaming from my computer very high bitrate 1080p movies like Avatar. Now I can stream the highest bitrate 1080p with True-HD or DTS-HD Master audio without and glitches or sound dropping directly from my computer through my 1Gbs router. The new DNLA support is also very cool for playing videos, music, pictures, and online podcasts directly from your android or iPhone using imediashare.
