such a worst player i never met before. Many bugs on it even with the latest firmware, i prefer Himedia HD900B rather than this rubbish player!! March 09, 2012 - 11:02
Config with 3D ready amplifier , espcially on Dolby Sound. Had try even direct output to TV but no sound in some 3D movie. Hope can get new firmware asap to solve this problem. Already email to Kaiboer but no feedback. Newest firmware from website dated 2012-2-10 has error. Disappointed. March 15, 2012 - 08:56
Yes, i met the problems as u said, really disappointed with this player, i recommend Himedia HD900B to u, sure u can really enjoy yr 3d movies and hd sounds!! January 09, 2012 - 06:24
The Marvell 88DE3010 chipset is also used in the ONLive gaming system... I think Meteroit gave up on developing their Marvell player... the Nixeus is still working with theirs... October 28, 2011 - 21:38

Specs here are wrong. HDMI 1.4 and support Bluray 3D in iso and disk format. Full bluray menus. Works great from the above perspective, but the media playback of MKV's etc is very buggy - firmware needs updating. Machine hangs needing power cycle to recover from media it cannot play. The firmware from 10/26 is still garbage. The entire system hangs while playing MKV's over the network and takes forever to play ISO's over a gigabit network. After exiting a 3D ISO the system is stuck in 3D mode needing a power cycle. This system is garbage. Avoid at all costs. September 06, 2011 - 16:31

The Marvell chipset is actually meant to be used as a Blu-ray player, it got re-used in the Nixeus Fusion and Meteroit 322 as Android players. Leave a Comment
