Realtek 1073 based player. Is the same internally as the other Realtek 1073s, so how impressive it is will rest on the quality of the firmware and the effort put into adding additional software features. Has the usual basic Realtek user interface, comprehensive format support and rapid speed of operation. An updated firmware has been released so it looks like this player is getting some support. Slightly unusually, has a component video output.
This is a solid, capable, but unexciting Realtek 1073 player.

hi users, i have icybox 305A-B, i have big problem i have version v7.1.2 r4435, because r4446 did uprated correct (?) so i turn back r4435 firmware. i didnt use this player about one year, because usb and sd card slot didnt work, i dont know what a problem.. now i try find anwwer.. whats wrong.. i cant play nothing... if i plug wifi adapter, dont comunicate with player and when i plug in some USB key, nothing too... may you hepl me? thank you Michael, slovakia October 01, 2011 - 21:19
latest firmware has lag when you want to play a movie or music. it plays file you chose between 4 or 5 seconds after you push play button. Older firmware where better but they couldn't play some types of files October 01, 2011 - 21:10
after 1 year is broken and it cant be fixed. problem with usb connection. USB connecting and disconnecting randomly. dont buy it November 21, 2011 - 22:51
