i am trying to use HD600A as a music streamer, just want to know if it will play high resolution music format like 24/192 or it will be downsampled to lower resolution.

This player does not, in general, support BD ISO with menus. Only old discs without Java are supported. I ordered it from Prague, now it's sitting here and disappointing me ;-[

It supports profile 1.0 Blu-ray ISO. Clearly stated.
Your ignorance is at fault not the machine.

What the limitations of this product? It can play flv files with VP6, VP7? WebM? 23,976 fps?

i've been thinking about getting this player, but then i read about realtek cannot play 23.976 fps movie, anybody can tell me something about this issue? is it already fixed? or is it still there (the stutering) but not much a problem? tq

24fps works fine. May need to play with the video settings in the settings dialog ("HDMI auto" or something). 24p is not offered when you cycle through the modes while playback.

Oops, missed iboum's reply. I thought it was descending new messages not ascending...
Anyway, I just bought my second HD600a as a gift. I got the white one, and I found that it has an EXTERNAL antennae. The shopkeeper said it is "updated" to improve reception, but the black ones they were selling just a week earlier don't have this.
These are gifts for friends in the states, so I haven't been able to test them with the wi-fi here (I don't even have a TV, I watch movies on my laptop...)

Benjamin, you should be able to change the language. The firmware isn't language-specific.
Navigate to the settings menu (the little gear, furthest to the right), then select the first option.

Does anyone know if they have implemented recognition of ID3 tags yet?
June 10, 2011 - 19:52
Have a 600B that share's the A's firmware, and as of the last stable firmware I think the answer is "no". I am wondering when this will happen myself...
June 14, 2011 - 09:30
I'm not totally sure what this problem relates to? The music is scanned and organised by ID3 tag, and when music is playing if you press the info button the ID3 data appears.

I think it may not read flac id3 tags. It seems to read my mp3 file tags, but doesn't do the flac files. It doesn't place them (or at least some of them) correctly in the Media Library either.

Unable to set up the short cut buttons (video, music, pics) to my nas. Anyone found a way to solve this?
April 28, 2011 - 09:11
I think you go to the settings icon (furthest right), then press OK, then press OK again, and then choose your language.
