Envivo
Another player (like the Medion Life) that has been spotted for sale in Aldi supermarkets, this time in the Netherlands. This one is equipped with the 1073DD chipset so is capable of DTS downmix.
On the hardware side the box is small but still manages to cram in a component output. BD-ISO (lite) and DVD ISO with menu are supported. As with all the Realtek players the real differences are in the frequency of firmware updates and features added. In this respect Teknihall have been providing impressively frequent updates and are up to date with the best Realtek players.
The Envivo is one of the cheapest Realtek players available in Europe, it is also aesthetically pleasing and capable of DTS downmix and BD-ISO (lite). A such it is a good player for the price.
