Egreat EG-R4B
One of three new Egreat players all using a new and we think very attractive casing. This model uses the latest Realtek 1283+ chipset which is capable of full HD-Audio support including DTS-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD. Other highlights here include an externally mounted SATA port and a USB3 slave port.

The R4B version uses the recording capability of the 1283 chipset to allow recorded on content from an external AV source. We are not yet sure if DVB-T is also a feature but it would make sense if it was.

The EG-RBA looks good and is potentially the most feature packed of all current Realtek players. We hope the firmware and overall product quality lives up to the promise. We have no firm launch date for any of the new Egreat players.
