Egreat EG-R1
The first non-Sigma chipped Media Player from Egreat. Now also available with an internal drive bay as the Egreat EG-R2A. Is one of the more unusual Realteks owing to it's external SATA ports. Not just eSATA, which would be unusual in itself, but full blown SATA2 connectors side mounted. There are also side-mounted USB ports, which many will find invaluable, and the full range of AV outputs.

Performance is good and format support comprehensive owing to the Realtek chipset. The shipped firmware is the basic stock Realtek effort.

Dolby truehd and Dts hd only downmix to stereo, passthought do NOT working.

Thanks for the update.

After more testing wih this device I've tryed the following mkv files:
Starship.Troopers.1997.720p.x264.Dolby.TrueHD.5.1-playHD
Garfield.2004.BluRay.720p.x264.DTS-HD.5.1-playHD
and they both played just fine.
I've tested them on a CRT device with composite video.
So it seems that dolby truehd and dts hd downstream are working. I think also passthrough.

In fact there is a USB slave port right on the back as it can be seen in the picture above. The other 2 usb host ports are located on the right side.

eg-r1 device pal / b / g output values bug.
Television scart image black and white.
the new software rgb / CVBS / ypbr can be added.
I like your device I do not want to abandon him because of simple mistakes
