Anyone tried the latest firmware? Last comment here is from August looks like a new firmware came out in October 2012 with many bug fixes. Like to see some feedback on the new firmware as I'm considering getting one.

I am starting to get the impression that bigger brands ie WD are probably a better bet where as some of the other devices offer a flurry of tricks but don't do most of them particularly well.
Hope this helps in any way and will post my thoughts when Dune updates.

What a waste as this has so much potential great picture quality (better than A300 and Dune Max) BUT! I am getting fed up holding on to these devices hoping for a firmware release to fix the damn BUGS...Like my PCH A300 it's going back for a full refund because it's NOT FINISHED!
I've had about 5 or 6 of these so called media players within the past couple of months and they've been CRAP! and not to mention the one's I've had further back in the past...
