Very similar to the Mede8er MED500X. It is a Realtek 1073 so fundamentally a capable player. Not available in Europe / the US.

Mode8er firmware does not work with HD Pro and any other Datage players

Their firmware worked on my Playon!HD. The bad thing is that their GUI is very poor and that the firmware is basically orientated to Asian users

I tired their firmware out on my playonhd and although the hardware is the same as the mede8er the firmware is not.
It's a basic Realtek GUI nothing special although their firmware is one of the latest available out of all Realtek players.

Did You try mede8er new firmware on HD Pro?. I use HD Pro-S which is new model from Datage and it's much better (in fact I relly like it). Manufacturer state that HD Pro-S firmware will not feet to HD Pro but in fact it's preety sumullar platform. I would really like to know if mede8er firmware will work.
