Cirago CTM1000
Taking the concept of miniaturisation one step further is the Cirago CTM-1000. This player is about a quarter smaller than the already tiny WDTV Mini. It's a good thing it's cheap because you're liable to lose it down the back of the sofa.
Similar to the WDTV Mini, the Cirago is underpowered compared to most other players on our site. It cannot playback MKV, MOV, or .H264 and is incapable of 1080p. AV connectivity is poor with no digital audio out and only a combined 3.5" AV plug for both composite video and audio. Storage is via a single USB port or SD Cards.
If you value portability over and above anything else then this player could be the one. Only the Sumvision Micro beats it for size. However, if you want something that is capable of playing a wider selection of files then the WDTV Mini is similarly sized but usually cheaper with better format support and connectivity. Even our highest rated network players are hardly large (the WDTV Live is 5x4inches), so we are unsure how much of a selling point this degree of radical miniaturisation is.
