Argosy HV359T
Very cheap networked player of indeterminate specification. Reports state that it can't cope with full HD (1080p) and has big problems with lots of popular file formats (h.264, mkv). This lack of performance combined with the lack of obvious firmware support on the Argosy website or anywhere else make this a player for the brave! It is very cheap though.

If this does play DVD menus, it is most likely a Realtek chipset. August 07, 2009 - 10:20
This devise can not play mkv and mp4 formats, Transcode server software which comes with this devise says it can play H.264 format when connected to network which is not correct.this is useless software. Recording quality is good which occupies 1.0 GB HDD space for 10 MIN recording on HQ. CHIPSE brand and version unknown and kept secret. no firmware updates are available as on today. think twice before buying. Leave a Comment
