Asus EeeBox 1502
The single core little brother of the EeeBox 1501. Uses an N270 processor and has only 1GB of RAM in comparison, otherwise it is identical. Since having a dual core processor makes no difference to HD video decoding performance, this is probably the preferred choice as a Media Player as it is cheaper. The lack of a Blu-Ray drive is not such a problem as with the 1501 owing to the lower price.

As of 01-Dec availability is poor but we expect Asus to get this sorted out in time for Christmas.

The EeeBox 1502 is well made and great looking. It is a tad expensive compared to the competition but you are paying for the brand and the looks. If these matter to you then this is a superb Mini HTPC.
