Asus EeeBox 1501
Very decent specification mini-PC in a stlyish case. The EeeBox 1501 has everything you could ask of a top-end mini HTPC bar one glaring omission, it has only a DVD drive and not Blu-Ray. If you are going to spend this kind of money on a Nettop as a Media Player then you are probably going to want internal Blu-Ray.

As it is, this is a beautiful machine, well made and well specified. We just can't help thinking that since the internals are exactly the same as cheaper models with identical HD video performance, you are paying too much of a premium for the Asus brand.
