Asus Eee900
The follow up to the iconic Eee700. Very similar to the original but with a bigger screen and a slightly quicker version of the Intel Celeron processor. By being a similar weight to the Eee700 series but utilising the whole of the case for screen and a faster processor, we feel that this achieved the best balance of the early netbooks. In fact, it cannot be matched by any of todays netbooks for size and weight.

We've had one of these since launch and it still gets daily use, booting into Ubuntu Linux in 12 seconds. It is a real pity netbooks have mostly moved onto using conventional hard disks with Windows.
